Therapy was a scary and hard thing to begin. I had never opened myself up to someone like that before and I was terrified. Rose was always so patient and gave me a safe place to work through what I needed in order to heal.
Counseling sessions with Rose were always my safe place. I never had to worry about being judged. It's taken me a long time to work through my issues. Not everyday is a good day but now I do have good days and I am able to appreciate them. The bad feelings don't go away completely but now I know how to let myself feel them and move on. Rose taught me the coping skills that I needed to move forward. Meeting Rose and going through therapy probably saved my life.
